I Heart Faces Week 13 Photo “Dramatic B&W”

"We are looking for B&W photos that are dramatic, sensational and/or moody in the way they are presented." (I Heart Faces)
This is the most "moody" picture I have ever shot of my littlest son Isaiah. Thought he was giving me a dirty look, turns out the poor kid had a 103 fever, at Disney. It turned out to be a dramatic picture, even if I didn't win mom of the year that day.
For more dramatic B & W photos, check out I heart faces.

They call him "dances with birds"

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge “Focusing on Angles”

"For this week's photo challenge, we are focusing on unusual angles. Stand higher than your subject, lay on the ground, move to the side, tilt your camera while you are what you need to do to give your photo a uniqueness of it's own. A unique angle is what this week is all about." (I Heart Faces)
I just took this picture on Saturday and I love it! I shot from the ground. The angle makes my littlest guy look a giant! Also I LOVE living in Florida, beach in March!

Bundled Up
This is about as bundled up as we get in these parts (central Florida), my boys trying to keep warm while picking out a Christmas tree!

Of all my kids, Jordan is the hardest to take pictures of. As soon as the camera comes out, he makes goofy faces. Like this.
Gotta love boys
So today I tried to shoot him on the sly, while he was up in the fort, I asked about his day. And finally real smiles!

An Into

I am new to photography. I don't claim to be great, heck even good. I am just beginning to learn.
Three years ago, I bought a Kodak super zoom and like it, but never really fell in love with it...Until this November on a surprise Thanksgiving break trip to the beach. It was the first time, I truly LOVED the pictures that came out.
I was given a Canon Sx20is and I fell head over heels for photography. I am saving up for a DSLR now.
I have no inspiration to be a pro, I am just loving it as a hobby. I am definitely looking to improve the little skills I have, so please leave constructive criticism.
